The Biomimetics Laboratory at The University of Auckland

The Biomimetics Laboratory is committed to the creation of new technology through biomimicry: the imitation of natural systems to solve problems and develop new technologies. We have a strong focus on dielectric elastomer artificial muscles with expertise in self-sensing, electronics, control, modeling, power generation, and device development.
