How PowerON is making a difference in the world

PowerOn uses unique dielectric elastomer switch technology to produce customisable, soft and flexible switches, actuators and logic. Dielectric elastomers change dimensions when voltage is applied offering the prospect of substituting complex, heavy, rigid, electromagnetic equipment with single-component DE devices.

PowerOn was spun out of the Auckland Bioengineering Institute with investment from IP Group, Matū Fund, and the University of Auckland Inventors' Fund.
